Riots in Tallinn

Yesterday and also today we are seeing some riots in Tallinn due to government started works on "unknown soldier's" graves near the bronze soldier.

As these movements started riots then government decided to remove this grave memorial from it's current location.

During yesterday night approx 300 people were arrested, approx 60 injured and one dead civilian, 1 out of 13 injured policeman is in hospital.

Today tension is growing up again and approx 100 more people has been arrested.

Hope fully thing will be back to normal in few days.

As there is always good point about bad things then we could conclude:
We are now truly democratic European nation in this matter, as you look what has happened in France, Spain and other countries in EU.

Is that true that severance of diplomatic relations between Estonia & Russia is close? You think it is going to happen? As for me, estonians did a good job...

Russia has said that they will severe diplomatic relations, but who knows what they will actually do.

Mostly decision will come from how the world recognizes it and what leaders are saying.

Picture in Russian and Estonian media is 100% different. Russians try to give a picture that looters are not the "defenders" of the soldier. Actually it seems that those looters are mostly Russian-speaking youngsters and most probably they do not have anything to do with the soldier.

Estonian consulate in Moscow has been closed as Russian authorities are not providing enough security for it.

During last night another 600 people out of approx 2000 being in downtown has been arrested. Approx 100 of arrested people were under-age.

There has been also started works on archaeological dig out works in the burring place.

Today till now it is are calm and business is continuing pretty much as usual, some shops are closed and licker sales around the whole country has been banned till morning of 3rd May.

Crazy. Well, welcome to Europe as you said yourself. We've had our share of politically motivated riots the last couple of days - and the last couple of hours in fact.
